Aaron's 1st Birthday

I can't believe my A-man is 1 already!! We had a great weekend with him and his mommy and daddy!!  Lots of people came, and lots of yummy cake was had by all.

Aaron is walking and trying his best to talk.  He is SUCH a lover boy - he enjoys giving hugs and loves.  When his parents walk into the room, his face lights up and he just gets beside himself.  Oh how I enjoy watching that!!

Here are some kodak moments from the weekend...a great time was had by all!!

Blessing: Watching my nephew grow up :) sharing kisses and memories...

Chandler Finished 7th Grade :)

It's official...we have an 8th grader in the house!!  He will be 14 in exactly 79 days...or 2 and a half months.  That means, in one year and 2.5 months he will be at the driver's license place wanting to get his drivers perment.  Shaking my head...where is the time going??

So, this year was many learning curves.  The first week of 7th grade proved nerve wracking...he came home upset that he couldn't go to his locker after every class.  He finally got used to it and I didn't hear anything else about it.

Chandler loved break time - 15 minutes to just be a teenager with older teenagers.  Girls are something that he thinks about and texts often.

All of his teacher said he was a joy in class.  A couple of weeks ago, we went to his first ever Sports Banquet.  Gosh, he was a handsome fella!!  He and the guys cracked us up when they went up on stage.

I love him...I'm proud of him!! Chandler is growing up so very fast...and I can't wait to see what this next year holds...

Blessing: Being proud of my son!!

A few of my Favorite Things

I am told on a regular basis that I would love Pinterest...and granted, I am positive everyone is right.  There is one small problem.  I don't have time.  I already have too many addictions.  Seriously.  I am addicted to many things.  Some of them are necessary for survival, others just require time and honeslty become part of my life...So, instead of me joining pinterest, I've decided to to create my own page on my personal blog that I don't put enough time into these days....

These are a few of my favorite things...

Fun to play with friends...

This game will make you think, laugh and probably draw something you never knew existed...

Banana's are good...a quick snack, great in cereal or on a peanut butter sandwich or in a milkshake.  Yummy!!

White sandy beaches...enough said

The Bible...it is full of good stuff ;)

Dove Chocolate is WONDERFUL...seriously!!

Green is the color ;)

A good writing ink pen is important....I don't have a favorite brand...just as long as it write smoothly and not too thin.

Maurice jeans fit well...they are super comfortable ;)

All I can say...YUMMY!!

I enjoy wearing these...yellowbox flip flops.  They make tons of different colors and styles and are very comfortable.  I would live in them if I could.

If you have never done Zumba, try it - you will be hooked!!

Peanut butter...goes with many things...peanut butter cookies, peanut butter pie, Reese cups, anything with peanut butter...
